In the 40s, a number of recordings where made of him telling stories, singing songs, and
playing the flute.
These recordings can be found through the Library of Congress
and "Kiowa Story of the Flute" was released on an album, A Treasury of Library of Congress Field Recordings.
May 1937, Jasper Blowsnake (Thunder clan / Winnebago) was recorded playing a warbling flute.
At one time, the American Philosophical Society Library
made this recording available on their website. It appears they have removed all recordings from their site.
A photo of Chief Jasper Blowsnake is included in this article about
Frank Speck.
