FluteTree Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the benefits and heritage of the Native American Flute while keeping it relevant within society. We also collaborate with cultures around the world that desire to study or promote their indigenous instruments.
We asked the flute community what they wanted. Based on the answers to our survey, we set the following Strategic Goals as our areas of focus:
Ancient Rhythms teaches under-served grade school students in East Tennessee about Native American culture and history by learning to play the flute.
FluteTree Website provides educational and historic teaching materials, curates an extensive list of links to related web resources, and maintains a popular online flute songbook that supports Nakai Tablature and flute finger pictures.
The Gathering is a national conference that combines educational workshops and public performances.
